IMPORTANT

Transfer Switches and Transfer Panels should be installed by a qualified electrician familiar with residential wiring and electrical codes. Since all states require that the installation be compliant with all applicable laws and electrical codes, it is best to check with a local electrician in your area or your building department. Estimated installation time is 1-6 hours, depending on your skill level and experience.
